    One happy evening.

We had a great evening. Holland made it to the World Champion soccer finals! And..... When we got back home we found our first U. aff. ebenaui hatchling.:yahoo::yahoo: We took some (really crappy) pictures (of the little ebenaui hatchling, of course). We are quite sure it's male. It's so tiny!

The first MT. Koghis of this season

Today the first Mt. Koghis of this season hatched, after 103 days of incubating. It's a real chubby gecko! The pictures are kind of bad, but we wanted to share them anyway. You can see the egg teeth in some of them:).

    Some of our hatchlings

We thought we share some of our newly hatched hatchlings. We made some changes in the breeding pairs, so we were very curious to see the outcome. We must say, we are very happy with them. Famu-1 Fad1-1 Fad1-2 Obch-1 Obch-2 Obci-1

    Cherry Pie

This is Cherry Pie, our male holdback ciliatus. We wanted to sell him first and keep another male, but decided we liked this one more. He isn't fully fired up in the pictures and doesn't fire up much often, but when he does he is amazing. He has got some nice white knees and lips and big...

    Male holdback

This is one of our holdbacks, it turned out to be male, but we like him a lot so we will still keep it. He has got a red mother, so when he fires up he gets a nice red hue over the darker part of his body.

    Nice surprise

We just came back from the Houten show and found this little one. This is the first hatchling of the eggs layed this season. So it's already starting great.

    New Hamm additions

Today we had a table at the Hamm show. We sold a lot of the Repashy diet and unfortunately only 1 gecko. But... we came home with some very nice animals. We want to thank Phill Dunn for this nice little sara, which we hope to turn out male. It was nice to see you Phill and it was also nice to...

    New Hamm additions.

Today we had a table at the Hamm show. We sold a lot of the Repashy diet and unfortunately only 1 gecko. But... we came home with some very nice animals. 1.0 Uroplatus aff. ebenaui, to go with a single female we have. He still needs to grow... A lot, since he is very young. The female would now...

    Some pictures, as promised!

We promised, a while ago, to make some new pictures of our pair. Since the female is still not hand-able (read, totally freaks out when we so much as point at her) we postponed it every time. Today we decided to try and take some pictures, but only of the male. He was very docile, to our...

Kali or Durga... or some other name

Here are some new pictures of our holdback, which we still hope to be female. If so, we will call her Kali or Durga, to fit with the male we already have, named Baldur. If it turns out to be male we will have to think of another name. It's a real strange crestie, it fires up at day, not at...

    Baldur and Brfi

Here are some new pictures of Baldur, TGFKAK (The Gecko Formerly Known As Kalena). We changed the name since it turned out to be a boy. Here are some pictures of Brfi, a female we held back to eventually sell with a male once we want to sell a pair. She grew into a really good looking...

    Kalena

Here are some new pictures of Kalena. She get nicer every day! The yellow is getting more vibrant and the underlying color is beginning to turn black. "She" might be a "he" after all, she now weight 12 grams and suddenly shows a couple of pores (not rows, but just 3 or 4 "loose" pores). But we...

A few new pictures... Of Henk.

Here is Henk again, the little spiny henkeli we got a year back... He doesn't quite look like that little crocodile-like creature anymore, but is a real big guy now. Problem is, when our new "female" henkeli turns out to be male after all, we will have no use for him anymore... :( Well, that's...

    New leaftails

We went to the Houten show today and came home with two new Uroplatus. First our (hopefully female, feel free to give your opinion about the sex) U. Henkeli. We could only make a few pictures of her, then she ran of to investigate her new home.... The second one was a unexpected one. We...

    R.I.P "Hannie", U. henkeli

We are very sad to tell that our beautiful U. henkeli "Hannie" died tonight. You might know her from the 2010 G.U. Calendar, as "Miss June". She probably suffocated trying to eat her shedding. We found her with a little bit of skin hanging out of her mouth this morning. Surely we are...
