    Male or female?

This is our Uroplatus henkeli, which is now about 5 months old. A lot of people have told us it's a male according to the pattern, but we still can't see any bulge.... Hope you can help us with this, cause we just ordered a female to be "his" mate... Now it wouldn't be a problem to end up with...

    Seeing spots

We hatched out this baby last year, and after a month or so it was sold. The people who wanted it asked if we could hold onto it for about a month or 2, so we said, no problem. And a few days before they were going to pick it up, they told us they did not want it anymore.... For some reason...

    Some new pictures.

Here is Oberon, together with Neo, the best Pinstripe we own. He was partially fired up, which gave him a very funny look. This is our best looking female....but we have never seen her this "ugly". This is how she usually looks.

We hatched some chahoua hatchlings again....

This time they are from our unknown local pair "The Houdini's". The parents are really large, they are larger than our Pine Islands. We were very happy to see that there were two nice hatchlings in the container. The father: The mother: The little ones:

    Passion flower

We have searched the forums and the internet, but just couldn't find any info on it, so we just have to ask.... Does anyone knows if it's save to use Passion flowers in a Uroplatus viv? We have made 2 show viv's in our livingroom with real plants in it. Since we always kill bromelia's we wanted...

    First chahoua hatchling

Here is a photo of the first chahoua we hatched today. The photo's are taken with a cellphone, so the quality isn't what we use to show to people... Update on pinstripe siblings

Here are some new photo's of the pinstripe and it's sibling. At day time this one has got a very nice pink hue over it's body... Really nice, we think.... And here is the sibling, still a very pretty gecko, even though it's not a pinstripe.

    Henk changed.

Here are some new pictures of Henk. He has changed a LOT! My parents saw them when we first took him home and haven't seen him since then. They were at our place a day ago and asked about Henk, while they were standing in front of his viv. When we told them that the gecko inside that viv was...

    Our reptile room

Léon and i bought a house in August 2008 and were rebuilding it since. The living room was ready a few months ago, so we only had to finish the bedroom and the reptile room in order to move in. The house itself won't be ready any time soon, but we can live in it to make everything right we need...

    Henk

Here are some new photo's of Henk. He came through his second shed, which removed all the old skin left over from the last shed, so we are happy. He is eating and hunting great! It's so funny to see him hunt! He wags his tail just before he attacks the crickets, just to cute :-)

New from Hamm and the BEE

This weekend we went to the Hamm show and to the BEE in Germany. It was great! We were visitors at the Hamm show, but had a table at the BEE. It was our first foreign show where we would be selling our ciliatus hatchlings at a table, so it was exiting. We were very satisfied with how everything...
