Yes, ANOTHER rescue...
I got a call from a friend of a friend asking me if I could possibly take a little baby gecko she bought from a pet store yesterday. She brought it home for her 6 year old son, and her husband or boyfriend (whoever he is) told her if she didn't get rid of the "snake" he was going to release it outside, or flush it down the toilet . She was almost in tears over the phone, so I couldn't say no, and I'm glad I didn't, as the little gecko is DARLING definitely a tad skinny, but nothing I'm worried about at this point. He's very active, and has a fantastic feeding response. He's a little dehydrated looking, and definitely in need a good shed.
The first picture is a camera phone pic I snapped when putting him in his new home yesterday. The second picture is our digi cam, and for some reason it dulls down his colors quite a bit.
"I CLAIM THIS ROCK" :coverlaugh:
So far he is doing well, has eaten a couple crickets, and a few dubia
Hopefully he goes into shed soon, he definitely needs it!
