Not producing fertile eggs...

I have a 1.5 year old male with two three y.o. females. Only one has produced any eggs, three so far, and none have been fertile. I feed them every other day and supplement calcium. Their daylight is on 12 hours a day. I feel like I'm doing everything right, but I guess I'm not.

What should I do to help them?

Are the geckos you have Leopard Geckos? Because if the eggs are infertile, its for the cause of were and hwo the female lays the egg. If its layed on the ground its extremely posibable it'll be infertile. Or how you incubate the eggs, for example you'll need a plastic shoe box, some perlite or permiculite and put it in the plastic shoe box from 1/2 to 2/3 full, you'll have to add water but I don't remember how much. you can figiuer it out in google if write "Leopard Gecko Egg Incubation" I hope it helps, good luck.

Take the vermiculite and squeeze it.. if any water runs out it has to much in it. You want it to clump up but not be sopping wet. As for if an egg is fertile or not is hard to tell at time of laying usually 2 or 3 weeks of incubation will let you know by candling. Pink/red hue = fertile, yellow=not fertile, black = rotten or in case of progressed incubation (month or more) a baby gecko.

haha, ok, let me clarify.
I have leopard geckos.
Also, I have been successfully incubating, I know how to incubate. The gecko at the store I work at layed three eggs and two have hatched so far.
The vermiculite is perfectly moist.
The female that is laying keeps laying them like they are fertile, in the humid hide under all the vermiculite in there.
She bunched up all the vermiculite and layed on them.
Only, none have been fertile so far and I don't see any eggs in her at the moment, at least none large enough to see.
Also, there is another female in the tank with them who hasn't produced any eggs yet at all.
I was wondering if anything special could be going wrong...? Vitamins, stress, etc.

Is it the first time the 2 females have been bred? Usually the first few sets of eggs are duds but after that they start producing good ones. It is always possible that the male isn't doing his job as some females will fight back when he tries to mate preventing it all together

I've never seen them breed personally, so maybe he isn't doing his job...
Is it maybe because he's young? Will he come 'round to breeding?
Are there some that just never want to breed?

I think you should just let them lay and see if you get fertile eggs. Sometimes it takes a few and some experienced breeders still lay infertile eggs.

I think its because both females bred with each other. Usaly if that happens the eggs very possible that they'll become infertile. And how old is the male? If its less than
1-1,1/2 year old, it won't and defenetly will not breed.

Geckonex, you need to do a little more research before you start giving horrible information.

How the heck can females breed with each other?

If they wern't leopard geckos i believe she wouldn't of posted in the leopard gecko forum.

A 1 1/2 year old male IS old enought to breed. Age had very little to do with maturity, its the weight that plays a big part. My 3/4 year old male has breed and produced offspring because he was 65 grams.

There are several reasons that your eggs are infertile and Eliza basically told you the best information that has been on this thread.
Possiblities are:
1. First year breeders sometime lays slugs.
2. Male could be infertile
3. Variable in the tank such as low heat, high heat, supplementation, and etc.
4. Not big enough to breed(WEIGHT)

Listen to Aliza and just wait and see what happens. If all the variable are good such as enviornment, supplements, and weight then its not your fault and its probably something you can't control. If it ends up that none lay fertile eggs then it might be your male.

Also Geckonex change your profile signature because you obviously ain't a master of leopard geckos or you wouldn't be given this information to people.

In mater in fact it is very posible for two female leopard geckos to mate each other. And if what I said is wrong, is my fault. I have read 3, 500 page Gecko ecyclopedias twise, and all of thoughs ecyclopedias said the same thing. And the ecyclopedias have three totaly different authors. AND ONE MORE THING, IF YOU DON'T WANT ANY HELP THEN YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN BE SIGNED UP IN GECKOS UNLIMITED. SINCE I AM AN EDUCATED PERSON I WON'T AND WILL NOT SAY AN EXTREME INSAULT, YOU
WANA BE BREEDER!!!

Yes, this is stopping right now.
Geckonex, you should keep your voice down a bit and behave.
