Its not like im popping pills in her lol, Just making her have about 5 crickets ever two nights instead of five hundred and sixty billion. every night. I also handle her alot more.

Does that sound okay to you? i thinl it will benifit her either way.

I'm going to repeat myself, I am not criticizing you. Whatever you feel is best for your animal is what you should do. :) I was simply throwing my opinion and information out there.

Lol. It really doesn't sound like a lot of food. But I know you're giving worms too.

I don't eat a lot, I'm 15 pounds over weight. I've been fat my whole life. My mother swore when I was born that I ate my twin. I eat a smoothie in the morning, chicken breast with some steamed veggies for lunch, and a smoothie for dinner.

The point of that is I get all my vitamins and nutrients. I take many vitamins that are blended to my smoothie, along with protein. I get my fiber during dinner. Being hypoglycemic and lactose intolerant, I literally have no food that I CAN eat. But as long as I supplement, I'll live healthy. Same with geckos. Boyyy I lost my point? Had something to do with gutloading and dusting? Anyway, you can figure out my point.

I know, im not going to attack you for that, I know some people who have perfectly healthy geckos who only feed them two crickets a day everyday.

Allee, I can relate, I suffer from many of the same things you do and I know first hand that it isn't pleasant.

Melonhelmet, I hope you don't think I am asking you to stuff your gecko, because I know that that doesn't really lead to healthy animals either. I am a firm believer in variety and moderation.

**Edit and note: Please notice I never said anything about how much you were feeding your gecko or even what, I was simply saying that diagnosing diseases online is not feasible.

I got it. He's got it. You got it.

Noww. Lets be chill. =] Everyone's points have been made and understood.

I believe in variety too, I give GiGi pheonixworms and silkworms about once a week each instead of minimealies (which really do wiggle more! They weren't kidding. She gobbles 5 at once!)

I breed my own mealies, if I know one thing after being to a mealworm breeding "Factory" here in canada lots of the oats have gone moldy that they keep them on, With my own the mealies move alot more, and I know where they have been. I still give psycho about one super every week. She usualy takes it with glee, yes, with glee.

I'm not worked up at all, I just don't want my words misconstrued. :)

I like experimenting with different feeder insects, my favorite is probably roaches, though. They don't stink or make noise like crickets do, and they have great nutritional value. I'd like to try silkworms, I know a guy that breeds them here locally so I will probably buy some from him and see what mine think about them. A couple of mine are rather picky, though, so sometimes it takes a bit of coaxing.

I'm thinking about giving GiGi a pinkie, since she'll be bred in 3 weeks. But I'm hesitant... And I need to give Liam one too. He's kind of skinny. Lol. I need to fatten his tail.

GiGi loves her mini mealies. I put about 30 in a bowl, and she goes to town. Because they're smaller, she can eat more of them.

I got hissing roaches. Those things STINK SO BAD! sooo bad that I let them go outside after an hour of keeping them. Lol.

i need to get some b. dubia. So I can start a colony. I know they're higher in protein.

If you get silkworms, never put them in a blender. Their silk will wind around the blade, and I literally sat there and took apart my blender to get the silk out.

I cant find any dubia roaches in canada, think that with my diet and with variety she will get on very well, infact shes staring at me licking her eyes.

GiGi's at home in Escondido. =[ I'll see her tomorrow night. I got Liam with me tonight. I brought him with me to my mother in laws. Since he's still fairly new and needs to get used to me handling him.

I don't think I want to do it. But Liam is so skinny. Lol. He's not toooooo skinny. But he's not at a good weight either. His tail is 1/2 an inch wide. that's it. Maybe a tiny bit wider.

I had to put a medicine bottom top in it so she wouldn't drown. Lol. I kind of woke her up in this picture.
