my is normal is shedding(molting)! now i am not fully sure but she is pale and kinda cloudy looking so i took a logical guess. my humid hide is damp but should i catch her and soak her in warm water to help the process or just let her continue on with her humid hide shed? and how long usually does molting take? just so i know if she is taking too long

Shedding is a natural thing. Leave her be. Some take 10 minutes, others take an hour. In the morning, check her toes, and pull off any extra shed with a warm q-tip.

i am not touching her or anything like that but i am checking her frequently and she is not doing much peeling. just sitting around its late and i kinda want to go to bed should i wait or will she be fine on her own? if i do go to bed and she does not complete her toes good and there is some left on the toes will she be fine over night?

you can soak her if it looks like she's having trouble getting any of the skin off. mine got through the process in a day. he just stayed in his cave and rubbed away.

I have one AMAZING shedder, and then GiGi. GiGi just sits there. For weeks if I let her. With the skin just sitting on her. She's oblivious to what it is.

Lucielle, I'll look at her, and go "oh, she looks like she's going to shed tomorrow". Then wake up. And she's bright. I never see her "white". I've never seen any signs of her actually shedding either. So i don't mess with it. I know she's fine. Lol.

do they not like to eat while and after molting? because before i noticed molly was molting she did not eat (yesterday) and tonight i tried to feed her and she would not eat and yes i have their food varied (mealworms and crickets). could she be getting tired of being hand fed? she is roaming a lot more i'll try and catch like 5 crickets and let them roam to see if she might like hunting more. i also have some mealies in a dish so she can eat them too

I feed Gi all kinds of baby food. She loves fresh peaches, not the baby food kind, but if none are ripe, I get the baby food. Lucie won't go near "people" food. Give it a try, but don't expect it to go anywhere. Most won't eat it. Some like it, some don't.

Fresh. Canned fruit is drenched is preservatives and unnatural sugars.

I take out a slice of peaches, and dice them, then put them in a milk cap. She goes to town on them. She'll even lick it off my finger if I have some on it.

don't get mixed fruit, don't do anything citrus. I've "heard" it's bad for them. I don't remember where I read it, but it was legit. I read about it like a year ago. Lol.
