Eurydactylodes food rush

Hi all!
I haven't been very active on the forums lately.
I guess the middle of the breeding season is the busiest time of the year for many of us.

Here are some new baby Eurydactylodes photos.
I simply LOVE this genus. These geckos might not be as visually impressive as some other species, but their personalities are ones of the greatest in the gecko world. :king: These little tykes are not afraid of anything. :)
I work with both agricolae and vieillardi and they are definitely among my favorite gecko species.

I just couldn't choose which photo to post, as they are all oh so cute. :)
So here are all three.

(There are both species on these photos. I guess you can tell which one is which.)

brilliant photos Matjaz!
I especially like the vieillardi :)
From my experience, Eurydactylodes have one of the biggest appetites of any gecko I've ever kept, despite their tiny size

Very nice! Beautiful animals! Are they all animals that you've produced? Do you keep juveniles of both species together?

Yes, I'm breeding both species.
I keep babies of both species together in small groups up to 4 or 5 animals, as long as they are all the same size!

I really like those photos Matjaz, I often find that mine seem to switch their preference between fruit baby-food and livefoods.

Mine will basically just eat anything, and they eat a lot of it too:). I love watching them eat the CGD, its incredible :)

I think it is funny that those persons that do not have Eurys wonder what all the fuss is about with these little brown geckos

i just got 4 e. agricolae that are about 2 week old. i have never handled and raised a species this small before. what do you think is the best diet to raise them on, mine seem good( only had them a 6 days) but i haven't seen them sitting on the food dish eating like this either. i have seen them eat a few pin head crickets and assume they are eating their gecko diet mixed with a little yogurt. i'm also misting them 2 to 3 times daily.
basically i would love to know your recipe and any advice no these great little guys.

Hi Chris,
Its great to see other people getting into this genius, you won't be disappointed.
I feed my pair CGD (Crested Gecko Diet) and insects usually about once a week.

From what I understand the CGD is a sufficient diet, but my little guys enjoy insects, and I believe all species should be fed more than one thing.

thanks. so you feed the rapshy gecko diet even to the hatchlings. i sure would feel good seeing them crawling around the food dish like the pic.
