Have you ever had a gecko that was so comfortable with you...

That they fell asleep in your hand?

It's been about 15 minutes now and she hasn't moved, her breathings gone heavy and slowed down, and her front left hand is twitching. Silly little Lylah bug.

Lylah's actual a special gecko. When she was younger she choked on her shed, I actually did a post on it. She was named "Luther" then, sold as TSM. When she choked we had to pump her lungs to keep her breathing, eventually she died, excreted, and it took my fiancée to open her mouth with long tweezers and pull out the shed. After that I blew into her mouth and she slowly started to breathe on her own. She was 14g then, and remained under 20g until 5 months old. We have to hand feed her and hold the food directly on her nose in order for her to see it. Brain damaged.

She's now 70g and will be a year old in 3 days.

She has a rough time seeing. If something's close by she can see it, but she does a lot of nose touching, so we're not quite sure of her vision. Her eyes are eclipsed, so it's kind of hard to see her eyes dilate. She eats well if I hold it close to her face, and she's pretty active, so we don't worry about her. :)
