Hey guys!
Just went out of town for ten days and left my leopard gecko with a good friend I explained everything before I left...I just got him back and he's a mess he has a puffed up foot that won't move a lost toe can't really open his eyes (and he's licking them because he can't blink...hes in really bad shape...is their anything I can do besides taking him to a vet? Some people said just wait ontill tomorrow and see how's hes doing in just really scared.... HELP!

If his eyes can't open, take some saline solution and try to rinse it out. If there's shed stuck on him, warm soak and carefully remove.

If his eyes continue to stay shut he needs to see a vet for a possible eye infection. I don't know about the swollen limb, so posting photos might help.

thanks! everything is doing ok now i took him to the vet they gave him some meds and he should be fine....i hope (-:

hi again!
my leopard gecko is now (thank god) not having sheding and calcium problems but now he's having eating problems his tail is super thin and i can not aford to take him to the vet again. is their anyway i can get his eating habits and fat back cheap? thanks in advance :biggrin:

yes you could offer him wax worms every month or 2 and if does not eat use chicken mash baby food i think thats what i read here. or you could make or buy a special slurry for leopard geckos

i tryed wax worms he hates them he kind of likes meal worms but he wont even eat those he loves crickets and acts like their not even there and so they just die in the tank and same with the meal worms ....do you know what to put in the slurry if you make it your self? i guess i could try force feeding...but i have to force his meds in and he hates it so it would be hard....but it never hurts to try:roll:
