That size tank is fine for 2-4 leopard geckos. You don't need any lights since they are nocturnal and the light from the room is enough. You can probably use a regular under tank heater but it's essential that you get a thermostat to keep the UTH from getting too hot. It should be in the low 90's as measured on the floor of the inside of the tank.

please help :( need to buy stuff fast...

I would definitely buy a glass terrarium. Fires are devastating! I would not mix heat and wood. Over time the heat from the UTH will dry out the wood right above it. Even with a purchase of a glass vivarium, be sure to purchase a thermostat for your UTH. The tank needs to be a little elevated from the stand it sits upon.

A 30 inch long tank would be alright for 2 female leopard geckos or a pair of leopard geckos. Choose geckos of a similar size.

I would strongly suggest getting a thermostat as well, something like Reptistat. Also a digital thermometer.

Using a wooden vivarium isn't a problem. Heat mats don't get that hot. You should always use a thermostat though.

When I kept E. macularis, I had 30+ wooden vivaria for many years, with no problems at all.
