We lost Shifty a couple of hours ago. Because of his condition I was somewhat prepared for it...but it's still hard.

Sorry to hear that.:sad: I know that when my little guy goes I'll be a mess. Keep that chin up and remember Shifty was a loved and lucky little gecko!

I am sorry to hear that. It is so hard when we lose out little friends. You were a great gecko parent and really did all you could for him.

Really sorry to hear that I've ony lost one - Boo who was ill when I got her too. I still miss her every day. I've been following your posts about Shifty and had everything crossed that she'd pull through unfortunately sometimes there's just nothing that you can do 
( Shifty was very lucky that you found her and I'm sure she appreciated all the love and care you gave her. I wish I could give you a big hug

We could never find anything actually wrong with him (parasites, etc). He wouldn't gain weight and toward the end refused to eat.
So...bad genetics?
