Really nice to see her head wound healing. Good she has an appetite. Nice action pictures! You're doing good by her !

Thanks!

Last vet appointment tomorrow. Hoping for the best, but I think she's out of danger, and it looks like the infection is gone.

Hello!! I didn´t come into GU for a few days and I am just reading the whole thread now, what a cute girl, and what great news she is recovering, to be honest, they also looks like fight injures in my opinion, how´s the tail going?? She is very lucky to be your pet!!!
How did the last vet appointment go?? I believe she will be just perfect in a little time!!

She is completely recovered! :yahoo:

She's eating a lot! And her tail is growing.. But will it get normal skin? The tail is light pink now, looks a bit weird.

At least one good thing has come out of all this, she isn't shy nor skeptical towards me at all anymore..

EDIT: Oh, and sorry for late update. My computer broke down, so I haven't had a computer for a while.

:yahoo: I am just relieved to hear she has recovered. Her tail will never look the same, but that's only superficial. Keep up the good work with Pixie:)

After more sheds, Pixie's "scars" WILL fade.

My mature leo Cha (named by kindergarteners: Cha cha cha) once got some skin pinched between some rocks in her cage. An area about the size of a USA dime (18 mm) of skin came off. I kept the area clean and dry. After not long at all, no indications of her scar remained :D.

That sounds good! :D

She's quite pale now, so she'll be shedding tonight I guess.

Here's a picture of her setup btw:

Oh, one thing that worries me a bit is that she's laying eggs. Found one collapsed egg in her tank today..

She has pure calsium in her tank though.

At little bit over two years :)

I see. Just reread this thread and failed to notice any indication of Pixie's age. If Pixie has only been caged with Daisy, and you are certain that Daisy is a girl, then these eggs would be normal and infertile.

I was just worried the egg laying would affect her healing (tail growing) in any way?

(She hasn't been housed with Daisy, but with another female and male.)

I don't think her egg laying will affect the regrowth of her tail.

How long has it been since she was housed with the other female and male? Some geckos retain sperm for awhile. Don't know about leos.

If you think there is some chance that she mated with the male, you may wish to begin a new thread in the leo subforum about whether leos retain sperm.
