I figured I'd do a little introduction of my leopard geckos that live with me and my boyfriend!

Donut (Normal) is about 5 months old and we got him 2 months ago and our first ever reptile. We believe he's a male but we can't be entirely sure yet, really. Since we got him, he's more than doubled in size! He can be a little grumpy at times but when he comes out for handling/exercise, he's a darling.

Eclair (Blizzard) is also about 5 months old and she just arrived today! There's not much I can say about her yet, other than that she is so tiny compared to Donut and I'm definitely going to work on her gaining some weight (you can't really see her size well in this photo).

They live in an approximately 30 gallon tank, with a divider between them. They're both on reptile carpet and have an UTH as well as a daylight heat lamp and an infrared heat lamp for ambient temperature and proper day/night cycle.

They've got a tumblr if anyone's interested :3

I find it funny how different leopard geckos' personalities can be!

Donut spends most of his time in his hide, sleeping. He'll come out at midday for a little lunch and then goes back to sleep until dinner. After dinner it's nice with a nap too. However, if we take him out for handling, he loves running around on the bed and climbing up our shirts.

Eclair, on the other hand is always really feisty! She sleeps straight through the day but once she gets up, she doesn't stop. She crawls around her tank, climbs her furniture and decorations, tries climbing up the walls and takes the occasional short nap in odd places, like hanging sideways off of a hide.

They're both such babies. Donut is a lazy sausage and Eclair is a silly noodle. I love them so much~

Your descriptions of Donut and Eclair remind me of Edgar and London. Tonight I came home to find her on the other side of the cardboard divider in her quarantine cage. it's about 10" tall..:scratchhead: That's why I'm almost sure she's female. She's so adventurous and curious. Edgar couldn't really care less about anything LOL but she is always busy doing SOMETHING just like your little Eclair. She takes power naps throughout the day and then is off running around her cage or hunting for food. She moves her little tupperware tubs all over the place. I tell her how is she supposed to have a true warm hide if she moves it halfway over to the cool and the cool is butted up against the moist hide. It's pretty comical.

How cute they have a tumblr! We named our gecko waffle :) so I totally love your names :D OMG the video of the gecko licking water is ADORBS. Do you spray in your tank often?

Ah, that's not my video unfortunately but it is super cute indeed! However I whenever I mist the moist hides, I usually spray a little water on the entrance to the hide as well, and they'll very happily lick that up :3

Food names for pets are the best :>

Here's a little comparison of Donut from when we got him and how he looks now :3 He's about to go into shed so he's a bit grey but he's grown so much!

Hey,
Great blog. Looks like you have some happy Leos. My Leo Fernando is like Donut put some food in and he's all over the place then it's right back in the hide. He dies sick his head out of his hide but I swear he's just trying to say give me crickets.20141110_155342.jpg
