Black fuzzy worm in cricket cage for gecko?

I was looking at my cricket keeper for my gecko and noticed a small fuzzy worm in the food... What is it?

It's a dermestid beetle larva. Sometimes those little guys are stowaways in cricket shipments. :roll:

I just toss them.

Dermestid beetles are used to eat the "meat" off skeletons. I'd just get rid of them.

You can try feeding the worms to the leos but they're kind of small and may be beneath notice. Many people don't mind the beetles and their larvae in the cricket enclosures because they can eat the dead crickets.
