Not putting her through it now. But a full size photo shows no bulges and no v shaped dots or holes at all. Not one. Just clean whiteness.
I have big photos but they only come out small unless you know how to send full size.
I did get a pound of Cricket Crack per your suggestion and others. I only had a little jar of aqua culture.

Not sexed him yet. Will when I get a piece of glass to set him on.
Slaw mix is cabbage and carrots that I feed crickets. And apples, cranberries, carrots and I add dry cricket food into mix.
I follow some you tube Leo vids and reptile ones and have for a while now. Have had iguanas years ago but moved and had to give them to a friend.
Aqua culture brand cricket feeder diet dry mix
Flukers cricket quencher ..calcium fortified
Rep-cal calcium with D3
Repti Calcium.. pure calcium

Mealworms eat about the same. I buy fresh insects every week and a half or so. Refresh my bugs. I get crickets about 25 at a time. Feed at least a day before. Change food regularly for insects.

Lagarto is Spanish for lizard. I’ll probably change it after I sex it. Upcoming news or pics to come.
Flukers Reptile Vitamin with beta carotene

Does this link show the same Fluker's reptile multivitamin you have? If so it contains both beta carotene and vitamin A acetate (retinol).

Excellent, Curt! It sounds like you've got a girl! :D

I'm "torn" between these two dry diets for my bugs: Cricket Crack or ZMNABDF. I don't feed off many mealworms. I've also been using finely ground Zoo Med's Natural ADULT Bearded Dragon Food for my crickets and dubia. It "seems like" my crickets clean their plates better with ZMNABDF.

If you decide to breed mealworms, here are some thoughts to consider.

Here are a couple good sources for reptile supplies including dry diets.

I saw you liked the bearded diet too. Another thought. I’ll see how they like the Crack.
That is the Fluker’s I have. What about it should I know? I have been going by that schedule layout type.

If I can verify she is a girl it’s time for a name change. (Which I’m sure she is). But I’ll do a double looks.
Bonita will be it. I like that. Means pretty in Spanish and rolls off the tongue.
Except when my grand daughter is here. She wants Rose to be it. Because it’s a flower.

 How about Bonita Rose?

Oops, please check your Fluker's label. Fluker's Reptile Multivitamin also contains vitamin D3 @ 10,000 IU/pound. It's NOT a good idea to use D3 in 2 different supplements. Vitamin D3 is fat soluble. Vitamin D3 sticks around in a leo's body for a while. It's not flushed from a leo's system when she urinates.

Well, I did use Rep Cal's products way back when, but I never felt very keen on Herptivite. I scarcely used Herptivite.

I prefer the ingredients of Zoo Med's supplements. For instance: precipitated calcium carbonate instead of oyster shell calcium. This info "sold me" on Zoo Med's supplements.

Thanks for the info. I’ll stop using the calcium with d3 until the multivitamin is gone.
You're welcome.

In place of Rep-Cal's Calcium with D3 I suggest a second feeding of plain calcium each week. Vitamin D3 at 1 feeding per week in that multivitamin will help your leo metabolize plain calcium all week long.

So that's
EACH week:
Fluker's multivitamin with D3
+ plain calcium
+ another dose of plain calcium

Leos reach maximum size at about 18 months old. There's a retired female breeder leo in the EU. Last I checked she's mid-30s!

I ordered some zoo med adult bearded dragon feed and the zoo med reptivite without d3.
I’ll mix the bearded feed or alternate it with the cricket crack. Now gotta find a good way to grind up the bearded feed.
Thanks for your help, I hope I’m all set now.

You're very welcome.

Do you think the beardie food could be mashed fine enough by placing it inside a plastic bag and pounding it with a hammer?

I ordered a Krups Burr Grinder last summer on sale to replace my much smaller Krups grinder that finally burned out after ~10 years. This new Krups grinder has a significantly larger capacity.

One advantage of the Reptile Supply Company is that they carry bee pollen, strawberry powder, alfalfa meal, et cetera.
