Soon Anthem will have a much warmer home. I hope that helps him be out and about even more!
BTW, are you using the baggy method to dust or have you discovered an easier way?
Instead of the cumbersome baggy supplement method, place a small amount of each supplement into separate tall 32 ounce deli containers. Label by colors: orange, blue, & green. Add crickets or mealworms. Then swirl them to
lightly cover them. Then bounce them against the bottom of the container to shake off excess powder. Feed off to leo.
Tightly cap this container to preserve the supplement until the next feeding.
Slate and sealer was purchased but not yet put in. Couple of questions first:
How long after sealing do you let the slate cure before putting in tank?
If sand is needed under the slate (to make it lay even/flat) how much and what type of sand is good to use ?
I haven't sealed my slate yet. I really do have two 16 x 2 inch slate cheese trays. I'm not using them until I seal them.
Do the directions on the sealant say? Maybe cure the sealant for several days?
What you don't want are any air pockets between your Ultratherm and the slate. Purchase just a small bag of regular play sand. Rinse off the dust and spread it on a towel to dry. All you need is a small amount of clean play sand to fill in the voids to make the slate level.
