Somethings wrong with my Henkeli please HELP

I'm not even sure what questions to ask here so any imput would be very appreciated

I only take my Henkeli out to weigh her maybe every 2 weeks or if I find eggs but I was going threw tanks like a half hour ago and I wanted to give her a look over. first I notice that her right hand was shaking with every step and I started to get nervous and she laid 2 clutches of eggs a month apart so I was thinking it might be MBD. I do have a uvb 5.0 bulb on her cage and I dust here crickets every couple of times, I probably should do it more though.

then things got worse I noticed that every time she took a step with her back right leg it stayed perfectly bent at the same angle and it was hard for her to adjust her toes to grab on when she put it back down. I'm not sure if it's broken or not. If it was would she be able to move her toes and it could have been that way for a while. I used to be a vet tech at a local vetrinarian so I'm going to try to bring her over there to get an xray. it's a dog and cat vet but every time I've taken a reptile to a vet that "takes reptiles" it's been a complete joke. they would give print me out a care sheet off the net and say exotics are delicate and they couldn't define the problem. so at least if I get the x-ray then I'll know if she broke it or not and move on from there.

if it is MBD whats the best and safest way to get the amount of calcium back in her that she needs? and is there anything else I can do? and whats the recovery rate from MBD? and if her leg is broken is there anything I can do about that?

I'm really nervous and anxious about this right now and I know that she's in pain, so please any help would be extremely appreciated

thanks

do you have any photos?

The best way to keep the calcium levels up are to provide a dish of calcium powder in the vivarium and to provide snails (if you can) and heavily dust the live food and continue using the UVB light.
How old is the gecko?

I'm gonna dust them every feeding for now and I've tried to give her snails twice and she didn't take them but it's worth it to try again if it will help her. I was reading another thread and it was talking about calcium spray which I'm going to look into getting tomorrow do you know anything about it in terms of what kind is good, does it work like misting were she'll lick the droplets?

I'm not sure how old she is but I got her in december WC. she laid 2 eggs one on the glass one in the substrate on jan 28 and then she laid 2 fully formed ones about a week and a half ago, one molded over the other is sitting in perlit just in case.

I checked on her an hour ago and she was spread out in the usual leaf tail fashion and the bad leg was fully extended so it's probably not broken, I think? but with that said I want to add that this wasn't an unwarranted freak out there is definitely some very wrong with her I wasn't just over reacting.

I don't want to take any photos of her right now because she'll try to jump away from me and I'm afraid she'll hurt herself if her bones are as week as the seem to be but heres some ones from the past couple of months (for fun)

Yeah, thats MBD for sure...luckily, Henkels give signs of it before its too late...It has happened to my male and femal in the past...you can bring them around real easily.

DONT TAKE IT TO THE VET!

Waste of money, time, and STRESS! Not with all cases, but this one in particular...

Give her calcium, Repcal works for me, EVERY DAY!
If you have her with a male, separate them right away...
My female broker her leg at the end of the egg laying season last year cuz the male was trying to mate with her and she was not receptive...I heard her squeal and look in the cage with a flashlight to see him hanging from her leg. Her bones were a little weak cuz she did produce a lot of eggs overall.
It healed perfectly in a short period of time...
Your geckos leg is NOT broken, though she needs extra supplementation...
I have found that the UV works best for bringing out their colors...but thats about it...
Use a babyfood/H20/calcium mixture to really pump her up with some calcium...What do you use as a source of Calcium?
Also, she can be very healthy, weight wise and 'meat on the bones', but MBD will shut all of their systems down before their fat runs out after two months or so.
I always use the babyfood/H20/Calcium mixture for my Henkels/Phelsuma/Satanics when the are producing eggs...
Put one small drop on her snout at a time, BE PATIENT, and let her get her fill...
You will see progress in just 3 or 4 days.
Good luck
