Thank you very much again for the little Tokay. :) I'm very happy with him, and he's settling in nicely. It's obvious you're an excellent breeder who produces healthy, quality geckos, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Your communication was stellar - you kept me up-to-date and informed during the entire process which I greatly appreciate. You were also very polite and courteous, and I appreciate that you were willing to answer any and all questions in a timely manner. Best to post a picture of the wound and the gecko on the forums so our advice can be better.

Generally it is advised to stay away from any ointment cuz of the possibilty of ingestion, Tyler. Leos lick most everywhere :)

Best to use VMs right now......

Hey hitting you up with a question again, I was looking through the Gecko health/ First aid threads and wondered if you had any input on use the Neosporin on gecko wounds. I have been using it for 8 years with what seem to be great results.

Hey liz!! Can´t PM you, quick question, with Leos the rule of thumb is 20 gallon long tank for a single animal, however, 20 gallons measures capacity, and since leos can´t climb I was wondering how many square inches of floor space did an ideal tank for a leo had ...?? I know I am no newbie to this but I acquired 3 AFT receintly and I bought new tanks and they seemed to be perfect size for them (accordingly to the measures and advice given here in the AFT subforum) and they are bigger than my leos and my leos have more space but I believe I have them in 14 gallon tanks..... am I making any sense???? I achieve temp gradients just fine in 14 gallon tanks (maybe the environmental temps helpe me a bit)... to sume up, how many square inches of floor space would be ideal for a single leo???

Yes, there COULD be a HUGE problem even with your females getting along for life. Have not seen the measurements of your 30 gallon tank: length x width x heighth.

Babies and older geckos should not be kept in the same tank ever. There is a possibility that even the females could not get along at some point.

Please share your concerns right on the leo forum about this for feedback from other members.

Why? Is there a HUGE problem? If there is, can't I split the tank and keep the females in one side and the other on in the other side?
